Form 304 Stainless
All elements are produced from AISI Variety 304 (18-8) austenitic stainless steel. This material off ers very good chemical and temperature resistance in the broad selection of varied applications. Because Form 304 stainless steel can’t be heat handled the mechanical power and put on efficiency is inferior to normal carbon steel chains.
Form 316 Stainless
All elements are made from AISI Form 316 Molybdenum-bearing stainless steel. The molybdenum gives the alloy better overall corrosion resistance compared with Variety 304 stainless steel specifically higher resistance to pitting and stress corrosion cracking within the presence of chlorides. Mechanical power and put on effectiveness are comparable to Form 304 stainless steel chain.
600 Series Stainless
Pins, bushings and rollers are created from 17-4PH stainless steels which may be age hardened for improved resistance to wear elongation. The corrosion resistance of this series is very similar (however somewhat inferior) to Form 304 stainless steel. The working temperature array of this material even so is also not as broad as Sort 304 stainless steel.
Mega Chain:
All elements are created from AISI Form 304 (18-8) austenitic stainless steel. Readily available in two versions (Mega Chain and Mega Chain II) which use diff erent physical confi gurations to acquire extra power that may be related to that of carbon steel chains. The working loads of those chains are superior to that of typical 304 stainless steel chains as a consequence of a greater pin/bushing bearing parts. On top of that each versions possess a special labyrinth style seal style that assists protect against the penetration of abrasive foreign components on the inner sporting components.
